Success!

HoneyB was buzzy this weekend! Our first ever vending booth was hard hard work and a super learning experience - we loved every second of it! Thanks to Unique LA, we met so many great people and even picked up a few wholesale orders. You know what that means? You will be seeing HoneyB in more stores around LA! So exciting!

It was definitely hard to not get yourself gifts at Unique LA. So many wonderful locally made things.

We were so proud of our booth. We wanted it to feel like a real store / Victorian study. I think we did it! One guy at the end of the weekend said we had the best booth of the whole show.

HoneyB debuted the Knotty Nautical line to great success. Above you can see the AHOY! shirt. The line also includes a Anchor Market Tote and Knotty T-shirt.

Our Tools of the Trade Henley's also hit big with the addition of The Crafter.

COME ON DOWN!!!!!!

It's here! It's Here! I can't believe it's here! Unique LA opens it's doors to the public at 11am tomorrow (well today really - it's quite late as I write this)!
Our booth is up thanks to help from our friend Vince (total life saver)! Our products are out folded and hung. I can't wait to show you how we transformed our 10x10 space.

It has taken a lot to get us here. Fingers crossed we rock the house! Honey B Buzz! Tell your friends and come check off all your holiday shopping this weekend at Unique LA!

She works hard for her money....so hard for her money...

This weekend was spend with a quick catch up session with a lady friend at Cafe Tropical (my favorite place for their amazing cafe con leche) followed by two packed days of Kitzie pillow making. Bonus: I got to finally spend some time with our new gorgeous and brilliant circa 1931 Singer Sewing Machine!!! True Love came with every stitch.hehe look at me in my own Honey B The Diner henley. I didn't even mean to do that.
Spidey endorses these kitzie pillows with all her heart. That is the Lazlo she is resting her head on.

Yoki Doke shall take over the world

Potsch and I were up late last night screening and cleaning our newest Kitzie pillow. Yoki Dokes. Named and designed after our stunningly adorable Yoko kitty. This, being our third kitzie pillow design, has a more straight on look with the sweetest expression of busting you. Who knew a kitty could give such god puppy dog eyes.

Is that a little birdie we hear?

Meet Spidey

(That is her real eye color!)

This is Spidey. Her full name is Chainsaw Spider Monkey and I will tell ya she really lives up to that handle. She crawls up everything- tears up everything - and is just crazy. But she is also the sweetest, most lovable, cuddly, ridiculously soft muffin face there ever was.
Most of the time she likes to be on her own. People think she is a bit of a scaredy cat when they meet her cause she flinches and shys away but when Spidey is ready for some lovin' you better give it or you won't hear the end of it.
Spidey's favorite time to get love is when she is ready for her afternoon nap which must take place in my arms or on my lap while I am working. This is the least convinient time but she always turns it into the best time. Sometimes her sweet purring and crazy soft fur put me into a nap time trance and I end up getting nothing done but more dreaming. But you can't get mad at her and you'll never turn her down.

We figured everyone should get to cuddle with Spidey. When you find something that makes life great - You got to Share it!
