HoneyB is off to Thailand with our iPads in hand. Besides for taking our honeymoon we will also be on the search for inspiring visuals and language to turn into HoneyB wearables and usefuls. We are hoping to post while out and about. So check back for more iPad HoneyB fun!!

Art Blocks for Ghana and HoneyB

Our friend, Margaret Wuller has been working day and night on a non-profit project of hers (& Rachel Tiep-Daniels) "ArtBlocks for Ghana" to pay for boarding school costs for 13 orphaned children in Ghana. These kids used to be in an orphanage together until it closed. They are now spread out among several villages. Rachel and Margaret visited them all in November 2010. It is their goal to set up scholarships to get a roof over the children's heads and an education.

They have commissioned 200 animation artists and professional illustrators to create original artwork on a wooden panel which they will auction on Ebay in March 2011. Artists are from studios like Dreamworks, Pixar, BlueSky, Sony, ILM, Disney & Marathon Media in France. There will be an L.A. Art Exhibit Fundraiser to promote the auction and the artwork on March 12 at Gallery Nucleus. The artwork will be hung from March 9 - 14th and open to the public.
And HoneyB will be there! We have donated a couple Market Totes filled with HoneyB shirts to be silently auctioned off. Please come and see the stunning works by all these amazing artists and maybe have a little auction fun.

HoneyB was buzzy this weekend! Our first ever vending booth was hard hard work and a super learning experience - we loved every second of it! Thanks to Unique LA, we met so many great people and even picked up a few wholesale orders. You know what that means? You will be seeing HoneyB in more stores around LA! So exciting!

It was definitely hard to not get yourself gifts at Unique LA. So many wonderful locally made things.

We were so proud of our booth. We wanted it to feel like a real store / Victorian study. I think we did it! One guy at the end of the weekend said we had the best booth of the whole show.

HoneyB debuted the Knotty Nautical line to great success. Above you can see the AHOY! shirt. The line also includes a Anchor Market Tote and Knotty T-shirt.

Our Tools of the Trade Henley's also hit big with the addition of The Crafter.

COME ON DOWN!!!!!!

It's here! It's Here! I can't believe it's here! Unique LA opens it's doors to the public at 11am tomorrow (well today really - it's quite late as I write this)!
Our booth is up thanks to help from our friend Vince (total life saver)! Our products are out folded and hung. I can't wait to show you how we transformed our 10x10 space.

It has taken a lot to get us here. Fingers crossed we rock the house! Honey B Buzz! Tell your friends and come check off all your holiday shopping this weekend at Unique LA!

Dye, Canvas! Dye!

Unique LA is next week and boy are we shaking in our boots. I am at work designing a shop website and prepping our tags today while Potsch and our new helper (Thank God for friends)Ali, are busy dyeing canvas handles and pockets for our Market Totes. Tonight I will continue to sew like the wind. It feels good to work so hard but I ain't gonna lie - I could use a mini-vaca. Somewhere with a warm pool and soft bed where I can just lay around and read and cuddle...........WAKE UP! We're not there yet!Boiling the dye.

This is huge for us. Potsch and I just had our wedding (which was amazing!) and we have been itching for a new project. Well that itch has been scratched in a claw like way. We are hard hard hard at work design a new Nautical line that includes shirts for men and women and totes. We have a new kitzie pillow called Yoko.

SO much!!! We can't wait to share all the photos with you and we hope to see you at Unique LA December 11th and 12th.
